Dec 12, 2019 Thanks, 22tracks wow...rarely happens these days Interested in the FUBU track with Conway
Dec 12, 2019 As much respect I have for Royce to be the genius lyricist he is, he really lacks sonic appeal. The only track I revisit from his last album is Dumb. I hope this is better sonically
Dec 12, 2019 BOOGIE IS SO GOOD IN THAT TRACK I really wish he does some more bangers on his next album. Everythings for Sale was fine but it's not the type of project I want to bump all year round.
Dec 12, 2019 Because he is tied up with the release date of his own album. God, don't you follow the "news"?
Dec 12, 2019 Yeeesh, I’m always in for the new Royce album but that track list length and some of those titles... hopefully Royce hasn’t caught Tech N9ne syndrome
Dec 12, 2019 Dumb is one of the songs I still listen to. I gotta say, Cocaine is as good as Dumb. You can listen to that too but I get what you tryin' to say. Book of Ryan is a dope album and I don't think Royce is capable of an album with more replay value... I'd agree with what u said about Everything For Sale but interestingly, there are like 4-5 songs in that album which Spotify put to my top 10 of the year. So guess, it was a project to bump all year round to me even though I didn't feel like it... Same here...
Dec 13, 2019 I used to f--- with Royce heavy back in my Stan days. I still think Death Is Certain is an incredible, borderline classic album. And some of his old mixtape s--- was awesome. But outside of a few songs/verses here and there I don't think I've enjoyed anything he's put out since. He is an exceptionally talented writer and he very rarely makes overtly bad music but somewhere along the line he just lost the spark, he's been sounding bored and lifeless for the past 15 years whether thats his solo s---, Slaughterhouse, BME or Prhyme. Its all just.... meh. Guest list on this looks promising though, maybe Grisleda, etc. can get him fired up again somehow
Dec 13, 2019 After a relatively quiet year following his 2018 critically-acclaimed album, 'Book of Ryan,' Royce da 5'9'' has confirmed he has an album on the way. He stopped by 'For The Record' to discuss his upcoming 2020 project, 'The Allegory,' with Genius' Head of Artist Relations Rob Markman. The Detroit MC also weighed in on the newly-reignited beef between his close collaborator Eminem and Nick Cannon and opened up about the pervasiveness of drugs in hip-hop.
