Apr 4, 2020 Woah there chief. It’s not my fault your whole warmer weather theory is looking to be a disaster so far. Dead serious question, so I have to meet with my surgeon April 15, 2:30 sharp. He wants me to schedule for a knee surgery in early winter, right after work season. My legs are naturally a little uneven so the one knee took a beating all my life. Plus it got banged up playing football all through my school years as a rb. Umm, would you possibly pay for my knee surgery? I can send you how much the surgeon thinks that it’ll cost. I already told my family I think my one really rich friend worm, will pay for it. Because he owes me a favor. You haven’t even offered to send me any good MLB cards for dynasty. I don’t want the surgery, but the past month every single day I walk on my knee it f---ing hurts. And a couple Percocets barely do s--- for it.
Apr 4, 2020 Usually I would say no...but putting you near people who have coronavirus might be worth it. Send me an invoice
Apr 4, 2020 All the talk about meeting up and fighting the last few pages has brought back some fond memories. Speaking of does anybody remember the name of the kid from RB that I flew to Queens to fight back in 2008/2009
Apr 4, 2020 Yep lol. That's right. Asif. Man, the mid-late 00's were the golden age of message boards. d--- I'm old
Apr 5, 2020 i've been on the end-of-april train for businesses tp start opening again, with social distancing remaining til july/august-ish + the expectation that we'll have 2nd and 3rd waves that we'll have to handle ad-hoc... didn't seem to be a popular opinion with friends when chatting tonight. outvoted with others thinking realistic is end of june.
Apr 5, 2020 Depends what you class as "normal" now really. I think office work will be allowed to some level or normality in June/July. But mass gatherings, ie pubs/bar and concerts will be off the table until a legitimate vaccine is found. As for holidays and travel, I'm really hoping by the end of this year. I took a brave move the other day and invested a big wad of cash into Carnival Cruise Lines shares which means that this world is making me even more nervous at the moment because if this carries on for months to come then there is every chance in the world they will go bankrupt and I would've lost all of it. Obviously the flip side to that is that in c.5 years time my money should have at least quadrupled if things go back to complete normality.
Apr 5, 2020 Travel/Holidays will be the last thing to come back. Its rife at airports. Public gatherings will be back before a vaccine. Anti body testing & drugs will be out.
Apr 5, 2020 President is allocating medical resources based on whether or not the state is supportive/important to his re-election campaign. This is beyond cruel.
Apr 5, 2020 Mutha f--ka. Shut the f--- up. I'm sick of reading your s---. If you ain't discussion Covid bounce.
Apr 6, 2020 some good signs yesterday. Declines in deaths in the UK,France,Spain,Italy & the US. Good drop in cases in the US too.
Apr 6, 2020 My brother in law is a car salesman. His branch didn't close. Now one of his colleagues (50-year-old man) is dead due to COVID-19. They've finally shut now. This is the same picture all across the UK. Stupid management teams playing Russian roulette with people's lives.
Apr 6, 2020 @icecube our PM has now been moved into ICU, do you still think that this is just a bad flu, or has your stance changed?
Apr 6, 2020 Of course my stance has changed on this. I'm not a f---ing mentalist. I just hope to God there is a vaccination sooner rather than later. Not sure how long the world can cope under these conditions. Both from a living and a working POV. And has it been confirmed he is in ICU? Last I heard he had just gone to hospital for some tests.
