May 26, 2022 Man some of y’all can never be pleased. Reading this thread most of y’all were like please em just release one unreleased song and he did. What do y’all expect him to have a another sing for the moment type classic hidden in the vault? If so it would’ve been on the album. The song is good for what it is, an unreleased track, I like the frat party theme haven’t heard em rap about weed in a long time. Hook is dope. The only complaint I have is that there are no live performances of TES songs which is really weird.
May 26, 2022 New track is a bit underwhelming, but hey, better than nothing. Does anyone know when the Expanded Edition vinyl, CD, and other merch releases?
May 26, 2022 Depends what you mean complete. I bet this track was pretty complete similiarly to Lose Yourself demo, but Em's stupid idea was to tinker with it.
May 26, 2022 I'm pretty happy with this but I don't get why he threw older stuff here like Brain Damage. We got Stimulate, a new song and Bump Heads, not bad.
May 26, 2022 Atleast we know he can’t do that voice now. But the flow in the first part was immaculate
May 26, 2022 I think if he went to a better studio with better production he can get a lot closer than he did here
May 26, 2022 Well if Em didn’t tinker with Lose yourself then we wouldn’t have gotten the current lose yourself lol
May 26, 2022 This thread confirms me that Em fans are cultists. Everything new sucks. Everything old is good. lol
May 26, 2022 I say the hook prob sounds a lot better now than it did then First verse is actually favourite but production really makes it sound so jarring
May 26, 2022 Now you know why certain songs don’t make the cut I enjoyed it but definitely would of being a weak link on the album at least under the influence has D12 the hook is great but everything else sounds like a throw away SSLP song I’m still happy he released it though first verse lis good but the production is so jarring, he’s really obsessed with smothering beats with voice the last few years but don’t see how people can be mad at this was a nice treat rather than nothing new
