Aug 12, 2022 I'm really loving these slow melancholic last episodes and the possible last downfall of Gene and Kim... This last episode was just brilliant and the Jesse cameo was so smoothly put into it!
Aug 12, 2022 I am too. I mean, we've not really been away from Jimmy's arc for that long. But the pacing of the episodes makes it seem so. Love the slow burn, as someone else in here said at one point (maybe @DKC). It just really emphasizes how long and dragged out each of their lives must have felt since they've started their new lives.
Aug 13, 2022 I can not remember but did we ever saw a case that he won as Saul Goodman? While being jimmy, he was more focused on his job it seems. I always asked myself if Saul was a good lawyer
Aug 15, 2022 Ugh that was terrible. The whole redemption arc was painful to watch. You mean to tell me he's going to give up getting 7 years to getting life instead? Just over Kim getting sued because she's a dipshit and did what she knew she shouldn't? He could of done 7 years and financially supported her when he got out. The bus scene with all the inmates chanting "Better Call Saul" was very corny....There was one point early on I thought this might actually be on par with Breaking Bad, but this season really ruined everything
Aug 15, 2022 I liked this finale. I think the ending was fitting. Going back to the "Innocence" of Jimmy and owning up to the humanity while still being in the Shadow of Saul is pretty much what this whole show has always been about. He gets what he deserves, Jail.
Aug 15, 2022 This final season wasn't quite Game Of Thrones levels of bad but it was f---ing close. I'm genuinely curious to what Gould, Gillian and Co. were thinking when they put this season together. If I didn't know better I would have guessed the showrunners quit after season 5 and we got a new crew. Either way the season was terrible and I doubt I ever rewatch the series again. Hopefully SnowFall can stick the landing next Spring because this show sure f---ing didn't.
Aug 15, 2022 To me the only eye sore of this final season was the recasting of Jeff and his seemingly total change in character. Other than that I am content with everything else. Finale's never make everyone happy anyways
Aug 15, 2022 I remember back on SL people wanted Walt to get away and were unhappy he died. It was definitely a great ending but people will always expect or want other endings is what I meant to say
Aug 15, 2022 No mention of Jeff tonight I guess he's going to take the rap for all of those identity thefts and rot in jail
Aug 16, 2022 Still heated from this season. For seven and a half years I thought we were going to see the transformation from Jimmy McGill to Saul Goodman. It turns out we were actually watching the transformation from Slippin Jimmy to Simpin Saul. An additional 79 years AKA life in prison to get a look in a courtroom and be able to smoke a cigarette with Kim. You can't make this s--- up lol.
