    Wasn’t really the same back then. The internet wasn’t like it is today. That’s why there was what would be called “actual” promo rollouts back then, radio single, music video, tv/live appearances etc.

    I was only 9 in 2002 when I first came across Eminem but I can imagine how crazy that year was after MMLP was a classic and he’s coming with TES and 8 Mile. He was literally the biggest thing in the world back then
