May 23, 2026 some more special presentations pitches I would include I wouldn't mind more special presentations as long as they are like once a year. Over surplus of content is what got us into the mess of the last few years. Maybe they can do ones for mutants and street level characters that are already somewhat established. Jessica jones is perfect for this. Just a 50 Minute mystery investigation. Marvel should lean into genre specific. If every special is just like punisher, it get old real quick. But a mystery crime thriller Jessica special would harken back to those 90's lifetime dark movies. Perfect vibe for her. Or do a horror twilight Zone special with someone like Charlize Theron Clea. Where she can actually act out a supernatural sketch horror story of her time in the dark dimension. Linda like wandavision with its sitcom nature. There's a lot of creative things marvel can do if they actually tried and stop pandering to the audience that just wants punisher and daredevil doing the same old thing they been doing. Lol
May 23, 2026 I’ve been saying this for months. @Ripper Roo once this movie drops I bet there will be debates on if this or Spiderman 2 is the best live action Spidey film And it’s because they are going back to putting Peter first, without scarifying Spider-Man being a friendly neighborhood Spiderman. That balance is what makes him the greatest. You have to be able to show the stress of both life’s challenging him. That’s what makes a great Spiderman story.
May 23, 2026 I get it though, I feel the same way. Brand New Day should totally be the best Spider-Man movie since the Raimi films. This feels like it’s gonna be a real, authentic Spider-Man film.
May 23, 2026 Yep. As much as I love the Home trilogy. I’m glad we finally get grown up Spidey with a director that isn’t afraid to use other villians and characters.
May 24, 2026 Eternals always should have been a 9 episode Annthology Disney+ limited series. Each member given a 1 hour episode dedicated to them, set in time period pieces. For example Angelina Jolie Athena should have had an episode in Ancient Greece, the Mind Control Eternal in the Aztec period when the conquistadors invaded, That one eternal who created the Atomic bomb in Hiroshima, ect. Each could have had moments to actually build character and effect the history of the MCU, essentially being literal eternal. It writes itself, they are supposed to be gods trying to relate to humanity. How did marvel tv not realize this was the perfect placement for them? Wasted characters that could have been vital to the backdrop of the multiverse saga. Now they will just be remembered as flops.
