Black panther breaking all time records brought in an untapped market that showed up for infinity war. Russo brothers themselves and Disney have said this was a major factor for why late phase 3 was bigger than the rest of phase 3. You ignoring the biggest movie of the infinity saga before the avengers return was black panther.
