Jul 7, 2026 at 1:56 PM Horrid. Are basements common over there? They arent everywhere in the US for some reason but theyre common in the part of the country where I am and ours is always cooler than the house by about 10 degrees. 25-30 is not bad, especially for swimming!

Jul 7, 2026 at 3:05 PM Nah no basement (in some houses though) but I got an airco for my bedroom. I don't mind it being hot during the day but I can't sleep when it's not below 20 degrees lmao
Jul 7, 2026 at 3:28 PM Last week it was in the high 90s (Fahrenheit) now it’s in the mid 80s most of this week but actually only in the high 70s for most of today which is nice. I don’t like the 80s but it’s much much more tolerable than the high 90s especially with how humid it was. I prefer the low 70s or 60s. When the temps were in the 90s it was frequently 106 degrees Fahrenheit in my car
Jul 7, 2026 at 3:38 PM Melting the dashboard & that sounds like an ideal temp range to me too, 60 to mid-70s. If it gets down into the upper 50's overnight that's perfect sleeping weather for me. If it's 70 at night I just suffer. I need a bedroom AC like MichaelMyers If we never got over 75 all summer it would be perfectly fine with me. Still I actually dont mind a few bad miserable days of super hot misery because it makes me appreciate when fall starts and I know really warm days are done. I love September and October
