May 28, 2015 some of you og dbz fans may recognize one or two of these...I started designing & building these before I hit puberty. my personal site 'Dragonball Fusion (DBF)' was actually fairly popular back in the day. I had a few spinoff sites of my own as well -- the "Otaku 100" (a top 100 site), "Fusion Awardz", and then finally once I closed my DBZ doors, I moved onto DBFDzigns ("The WHC"), which was a Webmasters Help Center aimed at the anime community who were starting to grow too old for the dwindling dbz stuff (just prior to the dbz hype crash...d---, i was insightful). ...a few months prior to Studio Leaks shutting down, a member joined SL and PMed me asking if i was the same Slyk from Dragonball Fusion (I've used this alias for a long a--- time now). hoping some of you may recognize these historic pieces of art: Final version of DBF before the shutdown: DBF prior layout: my awards site (never gained much traction): all that's left of my top 100 site (Otaku 100): the WHC (webmasters help center...this is where i ended): designed for another site (Dragonball Mania): made this for another site (Anime Himitsu): this one was f---ing intense and was made for a larger site...forget the name Dragonball Heat/Fire (i think?)...they were rebranding: DB Himitsu: this is who reached out to me on SL (holla if you're still out there): ...dug up quite a few free layouts I made and gave out to the community as well, but none really worth posting here. mention me if you recognize any of these or used to f--- with these sites or make your own.

May 28, 2015 Otaku 100 kinda sounds familiar not sure though it's been so long. I used to check out DBZ sites nearly 15 years ago's when I was 14. This one DBZ site I visited frequently but can't remember the name, 'cause it had a active chatroom and I became friends with some of the other active people there. Met this attractive latina chick aswell that lived like 2 hours away from me that I "cybered" with for the first time lol, still friends with her to this day
May 28, 2015 Surprisingly i hadnt come across any of these, but that's so dope you were a part of them.
May 28, 2015 anybody know if any of the sites still exist from back in the day? just did a google search and the first 10 pages are all official sites and sites trying to sell s---
May 29, 2015 I might've visited the Fusion and Mania one. This was like 15 years ago tho. I used to go on them (every DBZ site I could find) during computer class or after school and print the pictures. As many as I could. Then take them home, cut them out and glue them in a notebook
May 29, 2015 I have notebooks full of Dragonball Z characters I created in elementary/grade school. Will post.
May 29, 2015 I wish I had the almost pamflit type book I made of like super saiyan 1-8 drawings Was very big into the how to draw books
May 29, 2015 I've got a thick, hardcover sketchbook filled with that stuff. Drawing was my biggest hobby and I never got any good at it.
May 29, 2015 i used to record the episodes on VHS, then play it back and pause the tv and then sketch out the frame...i fortunately/unfortunately still have those sketches laying around here somewhere.
May 29, 2015 Oh the memories! I was basically the same as you (except replace computer class/after school with public library and replace glue them in notebook with sliding them into folders). Those were the days.
May 29, 2015 Oh s--- the memories I'd go on Google, type in Dragon Ball Z and I'd go through so many pages and sites. I definitely remember Fusion and Otaku 100 @Slyk d---. Making me wanna see how many old sites I'd use are still up
