Jun 3, 2015 Imagine a whole US military convo rollin thru the camp bumpin Phenomenal out the Humvee #ReadyForWW3
Jun 3, 2015 I think the stop and go flow that he's had recently is what hinders the replay value of his songs. While technically impressive, it doesn't make for a easy to listen to song.
Jun 3, 2015 Absolutely... It's such a chore to listen to his music these days. No replay value what so ever!
Jun 3, 2015 I feel like if Proof was alive he would do better music. He was probably the only one who would give an honest opinion. I think everyone around Em are a bunch of sheep who won't tell him his s--- is wack and his new flow is terrible. Especially if he lays a verse for their song, they probably just use it because of how big his name is even though they think his verse was s---. Someone needs to tell him straight-up to get rid of that s-----y choppy, stop and go, agressive whisper, out of sync delivery and just chill out and stick to the melody. My 2 cents
Jun 3, 2015 "And they never been yes men They gon' tell me when I'm f---in' up" No they won't. You're f---in up.
Jun 3, 2015 getting f---ing sick of him stopping the beat every 8 bars tbh. Absolutely spoils every verse and doesn't help the fact he's been doing it for about 3 years straight now on every song. There is a great little 2 bar that sounds very promising tho "I write with the left, same hand i hold the mic with as i fight to the death" thats the type of flow i personally want. Clear, smooth and not trying to fit 100 syllables in 1 bar
Jun 3, 2015 That third verse is fire. One of his best verses in years. I absolutely love the beat switch too.
Jun 3, 2015 It stems back to when he was drugged out of his mind 24/7. From 04-07 Em was just kind of a d-ck to everyone, including the people close to him. I remember reading he didn't accept criticism well during that time period and like if someone tried to approach him about his drug addiction, he'd have them fired or cut them off. From that point on I think people close to him have just kept their thoughts to themselves, even now that he's sober. He basically turned everyone around him into "yes men". If Proof was still around I think he would have given Em a better sense of direction musically. I think Proof would have been more aware of the type of Eminem fans wanted to hear but I'm not completely sure the execution would have been any better. Maybe, maybe not, who knows.
Jun 3, 2015 Eminem gets more unfair hate than any other rapper. The BME EP for example. That s--- was great for what it was imo. He's put out three classics, one great album, and three disappointing albums but even his bad ones all had a few gems on them. Shady XV and all his recent features have been (no pun intended) phenomenal.
