Jun 24, 2015 Yeah, Veep is great. Perfect antidote for that s-----y Newsroom show. Fast paced, political humor that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Jun 24, 2015 Yo you guys are sleeping on Nathan For you and Review these are my 2 favorite comedies atm
Jul 13, 2015 @WPG @captain awesome @Narsh Finished season 4 of Veep. Thanks @WPG for creating this thread, which finally forced me to watch it. Up until S2 of Veep, this quote by @captain awesome was accurate in comparison to @WPG's assessment of Silicon Valley. Selina's career as Veep was simply a rollercoaster each episode. Success followed by f--- up. Selina f---s up. Gary f---s up. Mike f---s up. Amy f---s up, etc. They all take turns. But S3 found its stride and S4 became more of a compelling story rather than a quirky political sitcom. It's hilariously smart and brutally honest. I agree with @WPG's OP whole heartedly. Crossing my fingers Silicon Valley has the legs to catch up. Now let's all take a moment to appreciate the two (possibly) best characters on television: Gary the "bag man" & Jonad. Even though Tony Hale plays almost the same character as Buster from AD.
Jul 16, 2015 Veep had me sold in the first episode. Selina was endorsing some new type of plastic spoon or something like that, and she used one to stir her coffee and it bent to s---. "What the f--- is this? Is it to eat around corners?" I died.
Jul 28, 2015 Been hearing more about Veep and only managed to watch a few eps from the first season. Need to give it more of a chance.
