    Today is Rakim's 50th birthday. Rakim is credited with creating the sound of the golden era of hip hop. He changed the way people used rhyme schemes and flow. Happy birthday to the God MC!

    Crazy that him and Eminem are the same age. Always think of rakim as a new school artist. I remember when he was an xxl freshmen.
