Aug 8, 2017 Yeah, Hus is very much a throwback in that vein. He put out a tape with Roc (The Cognac Tape) on Mellow Music Group. His early career was a part of the obscure group Tha Connection, and he put out Cocaine Beach this year which is prob his most major solo release from what I gather. K.A.A.N. I just found on Bandcamp and then found he'd been pushed on HotNewHipHop or something. I think he's more style than substance *cough* Logic *cough*, but it's nice in a Das EFX way. His debut was put out last year. Poll added btw.
Aug 8, 2017 If I have time I'll dig through more of their stuff but I really liked Hus Kingpin a lot more. Has that menacing gritty overcast all over him, a lesser disciple of Mobb Deep/Boot Camp Clik Perhaps it's just I'm not as fascinated with a very technically-skilled rapped like K.A.A.N as I used to be, although by that admission he is quite good at what he does (a less corny Joyner Lucas tbh)
