Apr 10, 2017 DEVELOPING: A California elementary school is currently on lockdown after two people reportedly were shot and killed there Monday in what police suspect is a murder-suicide. The incident happened around 10 a.m. local time at the North Park Elementary school in San Bernardino. Based on preliminary information, there were 4 victims, with the suspect possibly down as well, San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan posted on Twitter. One of the victims is believed to be a teacher and responders are on scene, Maria Garcia, communications officer at San Bernardino Unified School District, told Fox News. Their conditions were not immediately clear. “We believe this to be a murder-suicide. Happened in a classroom,” Burguan said. He added that two students have been transported to a hospital. The school is on lockdown along with two others: Hillside Elementary School and Cajon High School. Garcia told the San Bernardino Sun that school officials believe the “situation is contained.” Burguan advised the public to stay out of the area and said students are being taken to Cajon High School for safety. Apr 10, 2017 Its awful, I hope everyone pulls through. It will always come to this but Im waiting for liberals to argue for more gun control, even though shootings tend to happen in high gun control states, as it did today.
Apr 10, 2017 Tbh a great solution to this imo would be to hire stable vets to guard schools. I cant imagine most vets wouldn't love protecting kids if they want that form of job and they are trained already
Apr 10, 2017 Yeah, the thing is, this isn't true. https://www.americanprogress.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/AmericaUnderTheGun-2.pdf
Apr 10, 2017 No child of god should ever suffer such horror. Yet is pro guns and an 8 year old child was just killed.
Apr 11, 2017 The shooter was the husband of one of the teachers; no bullying was involved. (still a tragedy regardless)
