Feb 10, 2016 I have only listened to it 8 times so.... I think it's pretty decent. I like how it is trimmed down to where there are no extremely unnecessary/average tracks. From tracks 2-5 the production flows really well. The beat on For My People is really interesting..........kinda sensational. I don't know how to explain it but the majority of this project kinda has that laid back, rich young thug style (what was on alot of 2014 Thug and Barter 6). I love F Cancer and Hercules obviously. I didn't really care for Special that much, only track I have a problem with. I can't call this better than anything Young Thug released in 2015 though. It is nothing amazing or that much different than what he has already been doing, but from my understanding it is not a major album or some s--- so that's fine. yeah 7.5 FAV TRACKS: f--- Cancer, My Boys, For My People, Hercules LEAST FAV TRACK: Special
Feb 10, 2016 I'd basically rate it about the same or a bit higher And agree about the most/least fav tracks Wow that's a first lmao But as far as narrative and writing goes this is defintely not an atypical thug project
Feb 10, 2016 none really that was my point. this has a very clear theme of family, hence all the feautres, the troup dedication/roscoe segment, and f cancer (boosie), my boys, and family with his sisters. its kind of a new sound for thug too. have u read my piece on it?
Feb 10, 2016 ill read it eventually And Barter 6 wasnt a cohesive story but it was close. It was his only project where the track flow was perfect and understandable
