Nov 20, 2016 http://www.postingandtoasting.com/2...k-in-traffic-ran-to-msg-to-make-his-nba-debut Knicks rookie Marshall Plumlee fits a certain kind of mold as a basketball player: played four years, played for Duke, overachieving younger brother, scrappy, built like a tank, short arms, shoots a hook shot so mechanical it makes Cole Aldrich look like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar launching a balletic skyhook, is named “Marshall.” He’s the kind of kid who would run to the arena if his team needed him. Yeah, about that ... So, to recap, Plumlee played 31 minutes for the Westchester Knicks Saturday night, scoring 22 points and grabbing 8 rebounds in a W-Knicks win. Joakim Noah came down sick, so he was called to New York this morning. He got stuck in traffic and ran the the rest of the way to the arena. Then he played the first minutes of his NBA career (5 minutes!), banged with Dwight Howard and even grabbed a rebound! Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, our own Jonathan Schulman watched him running around like a maniac during halftime warmups: “Plumlee’s the only one in the layup line without a warm up jacket and/or pants. Taking full sprints at the rim and missing reverse layups.” Marshall Plumlee: won’t stop, can’t stop.
