Anyone else fascinated with space? I find myself watching videos about it all the time. So many possibilities......

Anyway, I’ve seen a few users on here show some interest in space when debating the existence of Aliens and talking about the Mars colony. I figured this might get some discussion going.

I think we are going about the Mars colony thing the wrong way. Mars shouldn’t be colonized yet. We should do the Moon first.

I watch “how the universe works” all the time and always catch the new episodes. The black hole theory is what has me the most fascinated about space, currently. I’m always questioning what happens after the matter passes the horizon. Possibly sucks in so much matter that it explodes creating a parallel universe? Hawking thinks they may evaporate eventually. One day all our galaxies will be s----d in by black holes and that astounds me.

The big freeze theory is pretty interesting on how the universe could end.

If you haven’t already, read up on the Kardashev scale & the types of civilisations—you’ll be fascinated.

The concept of different dimensions & time being non-linear is equally mind-blowing

The computer simulation theory (not sure if that’s the official name lol) is also a pretty interesting one..

...and if you haven’t seen Interstellar already—you’re missing out. One of the best films I’ve ever seen.

Hoping we can someday explore Jupiter's Galilean moons, always fascinated with how much Titan (Saturn) resembled Earth's primordial soup stages and the possibility of life on Europa

In general it's fascinating to think of how much we still have to learn about what exists beyond our horizons

Just watched a cool video that talked about how when the Sun expands into a red giant, the gas giant part of the solar system will likely become habitable. Many of the moons especially.

I think that either Aliens just want nothing to do with us or we may just be the most advanced species in the immediate area.

    Great Filter is crazy though.
