The entire concept of 24 people roaming around in a map is either going to provide chaos or order and god d--- is it going to be fun. @theg
Sep 12, 2017 I see no point. Yes it is a legendary game that took up a lot of our child hood. But after playing mario kart 8 and going back to this game sucks. I've tried it,lol. Might check this out though but I doubt it.
Sep 12, 2017 Mario Kart (racing) is different from Super Mario (platforming). Super Mario 64 literally had the best design of any Mario game with it's huge variety and it's vastness. Even though it was released on the N64, no game could really match up to the scale of it, the only game that came close was Super Mario Sunshine. It's more than just a childhood gem, it's a pinnacle moment in gaming. It was the game that redefined platforming and made it open world and it alongside Ocarina of Time are still held up in high regards due to it's interpretation of the open world which is soo much better than what anybody could make. (save for the Switch games Super Mario Odyssey and Legend of Zelda which are similar to their N64 counterparts.) This would be so much better to play than Mario Party or Mario Kart. A lot of us just playing the game and doing what we usually do.
Oct 1, 2017 Contemplating getting the Wii U port of the OG it's been a good 10+ yrs since I last played this
Oct 1, 2017 Do it man. I went out and bought a N64 a few months ago and the nostalgia trip was breathtaking.
Oct 1, 2017 Eh. I had 64 growing up, actually never liked it besides flying around the castle with the feather cap. I definitely have no reason to go back to this when Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 are a thing. Same with Ocarina of Time in a sense. Had it when I was kid, didn't like it. Got Majora's Mask and loved it so I had no reason to go back to Ocarina of Time.
