It gets a little stale in the middle and could have done with a few less features but T.I. is really on top form and the production is solid af. It reminds me a lot of his last album (Us or Else), just a lot more concise. You can hear he put a lot of work into this

Just listened to the album.. Not sure what to think about it tbh. It's not bad, but not great either. The production is indeed great. I'll have to give it another listen to be able to formulate an opinion.

The Paper Trail is one of my favorite albums so this isn't nowhere near it imo but probably better than the albums he put after that.

ok think i might have to rescind my previous statements after listening to this a few more times. Guess i was just overhyped that this finally dropped.

This is still a dope album but its on about the same level as Us or Else, nowhere near the promise of Da Nic. Still much prefer this era Tip to No Mercy, Trouble Man and Paperwork though, he's focused and is still making some good music. This album overall is just lacking vital energy and really tapers off into mediocrity in the second half. For such a long wait its actually more of a disappointment than anything.

I agree with your statement on Paper Trail. You should listen to his older work also if you haven't already.

Tbh, I wasn't such a huge fan of Da Nic EP. There was 1 song that I liked but wasn't really a fan of the others.

As far as Us Or Else, I'm not even sure I heard it before lol. Listening to it right now. I might have heard the short version. So far it's pretty good.

I agree that this new album beats No Mercy, Trouble Man and Paperwork. It's a step in the right direction.

If you guys haven't heard the F*ck The City Up mixtape released in 2012 you really should listen to it. It's probably one of the best, if not the best project he's put out since Paper Trail.

Harry Potter and On Purpose are also 2 other songs that stand out.

Those tracks definitely don't belong on a mixtape. Should have been on an album.
