There's this girl that used to go to high school with me, anyway her and one of my closest friends used to have a thing for a little while and eventually she moved and they didn't see each other as often. She started talking to me and I slowly started falling for her, I asked my friend if he was okay with it if I were to take it any further and he said he didn't mind. Later on he started talking to her right after I mentioned it and him saying he's okay with it so I thought it'd be respectful to sort of back off from it all and let him go ahead. They started dating and after a few weeks he just started ignoring her. He's now with another girl and she's back talking to me again and I'm not sure what to do because even if he says he's okay with it I'm not sure wether to believe him. Sorry this probably seems like a stupid thread, just needed some advice fam.

sounds like you'll always been a second choice to her.

I wouldn't care if he dated/talked to her already because the past is the past but it sounds like he got her in his palm whenever he feels like f---ing with her.
