Dec 4, 2020 It truly is. It’ll never come to fruition anyway. We will probably get some Instagram snippets and that’ll be the end of it
Dec 4, 2020 im w you, its fun! (new PE album was fun too). tbh its more than a lil awk the older i get even pretending i f--- with like 15 y/o soundcloud rappers pretending to be future while wearing mascara. like no thx lol
Dec 4, 2020 I like all these artists and will definitely listen to it I just can't really see them coming through with something all that good at this point in their careers. But I'd love to be surprised.
Dec 4, 2020 I like new rappers a lot, its fun to hear what they coming up with , but ngl, I'll always be the one standing behind old folks. I don't hate on up and coming guys at all too, I just prefer older-sounding music if that makes any sense lol
Dec 4, 2020 I'm not expecting a classic or any album that I would consider "dope" but quarantine teached me one thing: bored man can come up with some decent stuff, cause creativity is high when you have so much time on your hands. I also like all of them, so this album will be a little bonus to their discographies.
Dec 4, 2020 Haven't heard a lot recent Too Short and E40 material but I did hear recent Snoop and Cube records and they still are perfectly cabable of making good stuff. In fact, "I Wanna Thank Me" is probably the best Snoop album i've heard in years.
Dec 4, 2020 Snoop and E-40 both have longevity in that sense, but I dunno man. Stuff like this always runs the risk of being forced and coming across as nonorganic (slaughterhouse). So I'd love to be surprised, but Too Short was rapping when Ronald Reagan was president lol. You're bound to lose some of that fire as you get older. Hopefully they can reinvigorate each other.
