    yeah like, listen, its important imo to keep up with new music, artists, trends. im not saying stay in place and pretend its 2003 lol.

    but at the same time i remember last xmas going over to my sisters, and my BIL getting drunk and blasting post malone. (hes like.... 40). now, we all know pm sucks, but still the visual over a very middle aged dude jamming to such a gen z shithead just struck me as a bit pathetic. parse from that what u will

    I'm not expecting a classic or any album that I would consider "dope" but quarantine teached me one thing: bored man can come up with some decent stuff, cause creativity is high when you have so much time on your hands. I also like all of them, so this album will be a little bonus to their discographies.

    tbh its more than a lil awk the older i get even pretending i f--- with like 15 y/o soundcloud rappers pretending to be future while wearing mascara. like no thx lol

    I like all these artists and will definitely listen to it I just can't really see them coming through with something all that good at this point in their careers. But I'd love to be surprised.

    I guess I was an agest in my early 20's... I remember when Snoop and Pharrell came out with "Beautiful" and knowing they were both 30 and I was surprised they could make a hip hop b-----r at that age.

    Now that I'm old as h---... I realize you don't have to be under the drinking age to be a rapper.

    With me, it depends. I've been having Pop Smoke's last album on repeat for a while. I also enjoyed that new 21 Savage album with Metro. I also think DaBaby has potential to be really great if he tries to be more versatile.

    But I can't get into Lil Baby for the life of me. I've tried and I just can't get into him at all.

    So, for me, it's a case by case thing. Funnily enough, I feel mainstream production fell off more than mainstream rapping because I feel someone like Pooh Sheisty would actually sound much better rapping over a non-trap beat

    I second this. Let's be honest, this isn't going to be anywhere classic, but there are definitely going to be some bangers and fun tracks on it, so call me in. And I'm always in for that whole west coast g-funk sound. I think Snoop is also constantly putting out some bangers here and there between loads of fillers and whatever, but yeah...they're all still capable of bringing some fun to the table.

    I like new rappers a lot, its fun to hear what they coming up with , but ngl, I'll always be the one standing behind old folks.

    I don't hate on up and coming guys at all too, I just prefer older-sounding music if that makes any sense lol
