Jan 21, 2016 While the Drake and Meek Mill beef has certainly become a tangled mess of diss tracks, memes and more, its origin, reference tracks with Quintin Miller rapping portions of songs on Drake’s If You’re Reading This it’s Too Late, received a clarification Wednesday (Jan. 20) from the supposed source himself. Back in November, DJ Drama’s ex-wife Summer Walker said on Twitter that it was Dram who leaked the tracks, but now the DJ is refuting those claims. In a podcast with RapRadar, Drama said that the only tracks he releases are ones sanctioned by the artist. “I definitely am not no leaker of no records,” he said. “The records that I put out, I put out records that people give me blessings to put out. I gotta lay that to rest. None of that s--- was from me.” Drama also spoke on the power of social media, which has played a large rol in the feud particularly once 50 Cent was dragged into it. “My thing more than anything in what we’ve learned from the whole thing is how powerful social media is,” Drama said. “It’s like The Force. It can be used for the Dark Side or it can be used for the Good Side. With respect to those guys, that’s not really my story to tell. They’re gonna have to tell that story. They’re gonna have to come and say what it was.” With Drama’s new comments the mystery reopens as to how Meek got a hold of the reference tracks. Jan 21, 2016 Idk what he thinks, but to me it's probably the principle that someone in his camp would leak something w/ the intent to make him look bad. He is "very open" about it. We been over this, Q is all over the credits & liner notes.
