Serious question. I thought Nothing Was The Same was going to be Drakes prime but then when the album came out I felt that Take care was a better project. Then.. The 2014 throw away songs that he released; 0-100, Trophies, Draft Day, Days In The East, Heat Of The Moment & 6God I realised that this guy is just on one constant level and really isn't declining at all. IRYT dropped last year and most/all of the songs were recorded in 2014 I guess and none of them songs are bad. They may sound repetitive (due to track listing) but they are good f---ing songs.

He also had a good year for features in Rico.. lol, Scheming Up, My Way & 100. Not to mention he released B2B & Hotline Bling and these two songs will go down in his biggest songs when it is all said and done.

Now.. the 6 years he has been in the game has he even hit is prime or is the best version of Drake yet to come?


I actually made a thread in like october saying "Is this Drakes prime" or something like that and I honestly think this isn't and Views will be great but what comes next is really intriguing to me

It's hard to say because I think he's still improving as an artist. After Views comes out we'll definitely have a better sense of whether this is the best we'll get from Drake or is there room to improve.

Take Care is what I think his prime was. He's never really declined that much though so I'll have to wait for Views to come out to see

Well I don't think he made Summer Sixteen intending it to be on the album. I feel like he made it and figured, f--- it, why not? I stand by what I said earlier that I don't think Summer Sixteen reflects what the album is going to sound like at all. I think he'll just toss it on there as a street single.
