Earlier this year, Arnold confirmed that he will in fact be starring in a sixth Terminator film. It is as of yet untitled, that should change soon though. I loved Genisys and hope they continue the series in the same badass, tongue in cheek manor.

Terminator Genisys is terrible and they're just doing this to get a couple of bucks before the franchise becomes Cameron's again.

So, Terminator 3? Woefully underrated movie.

i can tell how genisys isn't everyone's cup of tea. i never got the hate for t3 though. it had great special effects, a hella decent story, godly performances from everyone especially arnold who had his mind on a thousand different things. apparently he even got a minor injury to his shoulder carrying that coffin, which his stuntman couldn't even lift. love the film. i thought 5 was a step back in that direction and i think they'll really get there with this next one

I admit, having John Conner as the villian was a good idea but they filled it with so much action and convoluted fanservice/time travel aspects that it became a mess; plus it throws away the whole having to see the terminator go away as he's now immortal thanks to the ending. I can't believe they gave SkyNet a voice and a body.

yeah the pacing was way off. i thought they did some novel things with the time travel stuff. yeah it did subtract that goodbye aspect from the mythos. i like the living on idea too though. and yeah she did a great job with the role as skynet's embodiment. i'm really interested to see where they take the next movie

I'm almost positive that a sequel was scrapped due to the studio bringing in nowhere near as much in the box office as they were expecting or hoping...

yeah the sequels were scrapped, the thing is though that james cameron gets the rights to the franchise back in 2019 and the team behind the original trilogy expressed earlier this year that they would return with cameron in the director's chair

    so i can't lose hope
