    As a starting college student, I'd be happy to hear stories and advice to take into consideration for the next four years of my life :rejoice:

    I had a pretty good day. I woke up, went to class, hit the gym, and got lunch after :emoji_sunglasses:

    After that, I spent the day relaxing because I have a 12 hour shift tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it :emoji_weary:

    had school at 8 am till 9:20 am then mixed a project a guy sent me then went back to school for another class now im chilling

    After I graduated a few months ago, circumstances changed and I had the option of sitting out for the semester or going to a local community college and doing at-least something while I get my s--- situated. I chose that

    I'm majoring in Biomedical Sciences atm and I plan on transferring in the spring

    Pretty satisfied with it so far, It gives me more of an opportunity to think things through - which I felt I lacked before

    How are night classes? I was considering taking them but It would be too much of a hassle on my work schedule

    my class isnt that late its from 2 to 3:30 pm i know some people who take like 7pm classes but thats too late for me sounds boring as s--- like how would u get to know people

    Do what you gotta do bro. My roommate did 2 years of CC before coming here with me. He's got an AA out of it.

    Staying here for an AA is definitely a possibility, but I'm just not sure yet. The school I plan on transferring too is really exciting for what I want to do

    But at the same time, I want to make sure I'm not rushing into anything

    I just started this week, but I definitely know what you mean

    Making new friends has been really cool. It makes me feel like I'm seeing more in life

    make friends everywhere and get as active as possible right when you get on campus. the more people you meet the more likely you find people you really f--- with and college should be a blast from there

    I mean, I'm probably not the greatest person to ask advice from lol. I'm by no means a great student or anything.

    I have had pretty good success with the social aspect of college tho. Like @Kenneth was saying, meet a lot of people and make friends. I go to Northern Iowa which is an hour and a half away from my hometown, but a ton of people I knew from high school also go here. I made it an effort to meet new people and make new friends. I'm so glad I did too. I've met some pretty incredible people.

    Idk if you're the social type, but getting involved is also a good idea. This isn't middle/high school where people who are in clubs are looked at as nerds or teachers pets. I'm in 3 clubs and am about to join my fourth. The only student organization I don't recommend joining is greek life, aka a fraternity. DO NOT DO THIS. You're basically praying for friends and before you know it, you will be a douchebag.

    Yeah man, just take it all at your own pace. AA's definitely aren't a big thing, but they don't hurt.
