Sep 27, 2015 Bringing the 'rookies' at the time on his club paradise tour. Helping them get more recognition. Giving A$AP Rocky the biggest hit of his career with Kendrick's verse also helping him get further into the spotlight. Giving Kendrick a verse on Take Care and then spitting a verse on 'Poetic Justice' which became an urban hit. I'm not saying he birthed them. Far from it. They both would have been very successful. But you can't deny he was a pivotal factor in both of them becoming worldwide superstars. Wonder if the 3 will ever be on a stage together again.
Sep 27, 2015 wish he didn't doesn't really matter to me. like drake & future, they don't really really need to be making music together anyways drake is in this weird lane of rap by himself and only occasionally meshes well with thee artists. hope the features are minimal on Views
Sep 28, 2015 Drake was kind of a real one for taking his stand against that though. Everyone else who got called out was like "yeah yeah it's rap we cool we cool"... Least Drake was like nah u say my name on a record it's not cool. I respect him for at least saying something and not rolling over like a b----. But since it's drake everyone wanted to act like he was a b---- for being "upset" about it. Drake was just like nah how u gonna say everyones name on the record and still expect them to work with you? 100!!! I don't know why they been lying cause your s--- is not that inspiring!!
Sep 28, 2015 Also I believe that Drake thought he was levels and levels above the artists Kendrick "boxed" him with in that verse... He felt like nah i'm not competing with ya'll, this isn't no competition, you're not trying to murder me and steal my fans... If anything i'm giving you a leg up with this tour and this take care interlude... Stay respectful.... If anything he checked Kendrick like 50 checked Game....
Sep 28, 2015 Nah. Drake and 2chainz had the song. They wanted to give it to someone who could really benefit.
