Oct 14, 2017 https://massappeal.com/nas-biggie-tupac-redman-1993-photo-set-al-pereira/ BY KHARI NIXON OCTOBER 10, 2017 Haters will say it's Photoshop One night in July of 1993 outside of Club Amazon in New York City, photographer Al Pereira captured a few images of the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur around the time the two young artists were first becoming friends. Given the history the two went on to have, these images have since become iconic. And while Redman also appears in some of the photos from this moment, today new images emerged revealing that Nas was there as well. On Tuesday morning the Contact High Project, which investigates the origins of classic hip hop photos and is also a regular column on MASS APPEAL, posted images from Pereira’s contact sheet to Instagram, showing Nas posing with Pac and Red. It was a revelation for Contact High as well, as evidenced by the caption: “That thing when you look at a contact sheet for the first time in years and you realize Nas was there too.” Almost immediately commenters chimed in suggesting that the image had to be a fake. Surely, someone would’ve realized over the last 24 years that God’s Son was part of such a mythical night. Just a few hours later, Contact High responded with a reminder that raw contact sheets aren’t doctored and posted another segment of the contact sheet, showing another image of Nas that night next to Pac. Nas was there. And he dropped Illmatic just nine months later.
Oct 14, 2017 why would this be important tho? being next to someone doesnt magically bless you with the powers to dropa classic album
Oct 15, 2017 False. Redman, biggie , nas and pac all have classic albums. And they all standing next to one another.
Oct 16, 2017 I'm more amazed at the fact that the Nas and Pac images weren't released before at any point. Because the one with BIG, Pac and Red has circulated before.
Oct 16, 2017 I understand, Pac is GOD...Nas is God's Son.. he was blessed, then dropped one of, if not the greatest hip-hop album of all time. It all makes sense now.
