Mar 7, 2017 USA Network is prepping production for its upcoming series Unsolved: The Murders of Biggie and Tupac, a drama about the murders of Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. Deadline reports that Wavvy Jonez will play Biggie and Marcc Rose will play Tupac. Jonez was discovered by way of a national casting call and will be making his acting debut. Rose will reprise his role from the 2015 biopic Straight Outta Compton. Unsolved is based on Murder Rap: The Untold Story of Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur Murder Investigations, a 2011 memoir by former LAPD detective Greg Kading. Kading will serve as a consultant to the show. The People v. O.J. Simpson director Anthony Hemingway will direct and produce. Rose spoke on the challenges of portraying Tupac in a 2015 interview on Ebro in the Morning: "I think, it was a lot of pressure to me because of who Pac was," he said. "It's like, if I'm coming out the gate, this is my first film, I gotta make sure that this is done right. I gotta make sure that how I portray him is realistic." http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/article/29758/
Mar 8, 2017 Rose should've been the guy portraying Pac in the All Eyez on Me biopic. This looks very interesting.
Mar 8, 2017 OH s--- MCPOYLE FROM IASIP AKA WILLIAM FROM WESTWORLD AKA JIMMI SIMPSON IS GONNA BE IN THIS SHOW
Mar 8, 2017 So they're gonna re-create Keefe D's confession to Pac's murder or what since that was from murder rap? Somewhat confused as to what this will be but definitely interested and will watch. Any word as to when this starts?
Mar 8, 2017 Maybe they've just started working on it, will probably be a while till it actually airs but still good to know and something to look forward to. 2017 already a better year for Pac fans than any year in the past decade or so.
Mar 8, 2017 Apparently the guy who directed The People Vs. OJ Simpson is involved in this show. Not that I've seen the OJ show but I remember hearing good things about it so this show's got me a bit hyped. Plus it's on USA Network so I'm guessing it'll be good.
