Jan 6, 2015 @Lamont He trolling, yo. As long as Cole makes passionate, heartfelt music then it's all good. Just like @ODB has always been an A-1 troll.
Jan 6, 2015 personally I can't wait to hear his attempt at incorporating getting head into a song about police brutality
Jan 10, 2015 Like most ppl said he can keep rapping about life s--- if it's not the same way he's been putting stuff out. But whoever mentioned an album of bangers imagine pure power trip Chris tucker grown simba etc :omg:
Jan 12, 2015 ... you don't have to listen to him you know lol I stopped listening to Big Sean cause his muzic put me to sleep but i don't want him to retire.
Jan 17, 2015 Work with Kendrick on a collaborative project. Cole can be creative from a song writing aspect but as far as him being creative in terms of actually constructing the song all together with the production and everything, he lacks in that area. I'm not saying he's a bad producer, he's arguably a better producer than he is rapper, but with a lot of Cole projects you tend to hear very similar production, get very similar vibes from certain songs and that just kind of clumps albums together and makes it hard for individual tracks to stand out. That's why with FHD I was happy he finally did something different like A Tale of 2 Cities or even 03 Adolescence because they clearly stood out from the album. Anyways, I think with the music Kendrick is making right now with "I" and that track he performed on the Colbert Report, he could really help and launch Cole in a different direction musically. Kendrick knows how to make cohesive projects but also make it so every track sounds different.
Mar 10, 2015 Mixtape mid to late this year then an album early to mid 2016 Hopefully the next album has features...
Mar 11, 2015 After the Kendrick Collab, a story telling album would be ideal for Cole. One of his strengths most everyone can agree on put into a full body of work.
Mar 11, 2015 Do you think Cole will have the longevity Hov and Kanye have had? It would be a shame if he faded away. Such an inspirational dude but always seems to come up short. Certainly not in my eyes, FHD a classic. Fans received it. It sold well. But then he kind of disappears from the conversation. I don't know why that is.
Mar 15, 2015 One way artists fade away is putting themselves out there too much with singles, features, videos, commercials, etc...50 and Wayne come to mind. And then they never live up to the quality and spark they once had. Artists like 50 and Wayne are both shells of their former selves. Cole has progressed in terms of quality and popularity each studio album. That's special. He's selling out arenas in the quitest way so he's not coming up short at all. He's gonna be around for years to come. Cole just isn't the type to be constantly in the spotlight. The way he "vanishes" and doesn't do many features or release songs every month is so he doesn't end up like those guys I mentioned before. People get sick of you when you're constantly on the radio and TV. Cole's way is just different. He likes to remain a mystery at times as he said in interviews before. He can make more moves without over saturating the market. He's just gotta strike at the right time, go ghost and then strike at the right time again. @Jay Daniels
