First and foremost, happy Halloween folks

I woke up at 6am and started watching I know what you did last summer (which is a fine movie) and the movie starts out with one of the most bad a--- songs I’ve ever heard. I think to myself “I gotta know what this is”. Turns out it’s a cover song called SUMMER BREEZE by TYPE O NEGATIVE, a name I’ve heard for a long time but regret never checking out sooner. I needed more, so I listened to all of their Bloody Kisses album and guess what - its amazing

can anyone else point me in the direction of more metal? Only familiar with the black sabbath s/t and the synthesizer Burzum albums

I haven’t listened to s--- in years, but man type o negative is old school. Doom metal is a real interesting thing.

Was more into Punk, black metal, speed metal, etc

Examples? I know I’m looking for more gothic sounding music than abrasive if you know what I mean

I don't know anything about metal but I saw Slayer at Bonnaroo in 2015 and it was one of the most fun shows I've ever been to
