Oct 26, 2018 or One of my favorite Dilla beats ever, two phenomenal rappers ventilating their thoughts. Who did it better? Discuss @Dustheads @DustEnthusiasts
Oct 26, 2018 I think common sounds better on it. Both his rapping and singing makes this smooth beat even better to listen to.
Oct 26, 2018 Yeah it has the special Kanye touch, obviously mixed better too lmao. I slightly prefer Jay E's tho, just more raw and I never get tired of him rapping about esoteric s---
Oct 26, 2018 Definitely true but the Jay one is basically 2 minutes (rapping) so its easy not to get tired of it compared to 4 mins. Or u mean in general?
Oct 26, 2018 In general, Jay Electronica incites something that always grabs my attention and makes me want to learn more. Common too of course, but in this instance I think Jay did this beat a tiny more justice. All semantics tho, I'm curious to see if others think otherwise
Oct 26, 2018 Really tough call, I think Jay Electronica is the better rapper on the beat, but hands down Common made the better song.
Oct 26, 2018 Just recently got into Jay Electronica, Exhibit A blew me away.. how many songs has he actually released can’t find enough
Oct 26, 2018 You're in luck since the American Sasquatch has more sightings than Jay Electronica. He's got a couple of tapes (Who The f--- Is Jay Electronica is a must listen) and he's had a few tracks scattered over this decade. Here's a personal favorite you may or may not like
Oct 27, 2018 Grim basically describes what I meant. I like the common 'song' a lot more than jays. Jay is a great rapper but I don't like his music that much tbh
Oct 27, 2018 i saw both of these dudes on the same night live at the filmore in maryland. they're two of my favorite rappers. it was amazing.
Oct 27, 2018 That tour was awesome, I saw them in Brooklyn in this nice small venue and it was a lot of fun. Crowd participation was great and Jay was drunk out of his mind and went on a rant about the state of hip-hop lmao, I'm amazed he still finished his set
Oct 27, 2018 i don't know if this happened when you saw them, but when i saw them, jay brought about 20-30 people ON stage with him while he performed exhibit C. it was crazy. people just started jumping over the guard rail (jay told ppl to do this) and got on stage. i was up close, so i was able to get on stage. i have video of it on my computer. one of my fav concert moments
