Nov 19, 2017 I just literally bought him 1 month ago, its a laptop and it crashed twice today. THe only thing i see it might be causing it is because i put it on my legs when im on the couch. Is it because of the ventilation?
Nov 19, 2017 Lot of laptops have heating issues so yeah that could be it Try sitting in on like a wood table or something when you use it

Oct 23, 2022 I've recently faced the same problem and currently I'm looking for the solution. I'm glad that I've found this thread (and sorry for bumping it). Speaking abuot antivirus, which one would you recommend?
Oct 23, 2022 @icecube also has an old a--- crappy laptop he knows how to help you but first he gotta find his glasses
Oct 23, 2022 The reasons can be very different. First of all you need to use a decent antivirus program and a good cc cleaner. This way you empty a lot of space in the memory and computer starts to work much faster. Here https://ljzsoft.com/bleachbit-vs-ccleaner/ you can read detailed descriptions about two cleaners which seem to be very good.
Oct 26, 2022 Nobody really needs a 3rd party antivirus anymore. Windows defender is plenty good unlike back in the day.
Nov 6, 2022 Had this issue as well. While sitting on the couch I used my cutting board from the kitchen . Sat that on my lap then the laptop on that . Problem was solved
