Thanks. I haven't worked as a freelance journalist in a while and really wanted this piece to be good. I had a great editor too who helped shape the piece.

    Good s---!

This reminds me: one of my friends teaches english during the summer to incoming freshman who need extra help at the university of washington. One thing he told me he always does is have them pick a song they like and write a short paper on it. He said a lot of kids the past couple years have picked artists like Future, Cudi, Peep, ---, and wrote about depression/addiction/anxiety, which is cool to me that these kids can hear a Future song and know that he's not depicting this lifestyle as "cool"—it's a cry for help. This type of s--- really did help open up the conversation regarding mental illness for the next generation.
