7/10. Is a nice track, but the autotune ruins a lot the song.

Lyrics are really good. Kanye surprised me in that aspect. But is not the big thing in my opinion.

You gave it a 9 lol. If a song is a 9, there's probably an argument out there for it being a 10

your overrating those last few lines so much...now that the twist is gone you will start to downgrade that value little by little till you realize its not the second coming

Autotune can work, but I think it just sounds weird on such a minimalist production. When it comes to delivering such earnest and touching subject matter, I'd rather hear broken singing. Full Disclosure: I've never listened to 808s and Heartbreaks.

The writing takes an interesting route and is comparable to a folk structure. McCartney and West click very well. Reminds me of Elton and Eminem's rendition of Stan. Looking forward to their other collaborations. Still think Paul's tribute to his mother was better:

People strictly into hip-hop will probably over rate this as genre bending and visionary, but it's a dude singing over a piano lol. Bob Dylan couldn't sing either though. He still made it work.

I'd give it a 5.5. Average song of a rapper attempting to sing. Within 2 weeks no one will rank this above an 8.
