Nov 5, 2017 GUNS DON'T k--- PEOPLE PEOPLE k--- PEOPLE MAGA (CNN)At least 20 people have been killed in a church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas, according to Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt. Among the dead is the 14-year-old daughter of the church's pastor, Frank Pomeroy, according to his wife, Sherri Pomeroy, the girl's mother. The couple were traveling out of state when the shooting occurred. Authorities say many more have been injured in the attack that has devastated the small Texas town described as a place where "everybody knows everybody." Discuss.
Nov 5, 2017 Universal background checks for all purchases are a start. Won’t eliminate all shootings, but it would prevent some folks from getting their hands on guns. But, not a d--- thing will happen in terms of gun legislation. GOP = backwards sellouts who are bought off by the NRA and Democrats are weaklings. No legislation will be written as a result of what happened today. No justice at all for the victims. Senseless mass killings are a regular occurrence in the good ol USA. Best country in the world, right?

Who would have thought that we'd be living in a generation where you have to bring a gun to church in order to feel safe. My heart honestly hurts a lot this year because of all the tragic events happening. God bless all of the families affected by this, not only this but god bless the families affected in Las Vegas, and New York also.

People wanting to commit crimes will not be purchasing guns legally, especially without the potential of suicide being a follow up action. I agree that background checks may provide a valuable role but you're completely forgetting the fact that you can go to Mexico, or Felipe down the block who sells Heroin and purchase a gun without a Serial Number no 7 day wait period for a couple hundred bucks, and there's no way of tracing it back to you. f---ing left wing r-----s.
