Oct 22, 2015 its on the new tape, u should dl/listen/digest that before he puts on part 2 in like 9 days lol. idk man. i wasnt really conscious of (good) hip hop when wayne was on his run. historically? no, thug's isnt close. but quality wise? man i have a 122 days and running song of the day thread for thug where (even tho some tracks are form b4 he really hit his stride) there hasnt been a genuinely bad song yet. and i could do a 100 more. you could do at least 80 good-incredible tracks from just this year (but were recorded in 2014 or even earlier). he's surreal. hes a living legend any way u look @ it. imo. and you should watch his interview (its amazing): he says as much re: ur 2023 comment. he says people say hes the new wayne or whatever, but that happens with everything. there will always be a new and improved after you die, or stop. and he just wants people to recognize his specific contributions and talent before his time is up, and then 1 or 2 or 10 imitations down the road, someone does him even better than he did. etc.

Oct 26, 2015 there are so many thug songs out there. your list hasnt even scratched the surface of thug songs haha. (you have done an amazing job with it.) he has a little over a hundred a year since 2012 from what people have gotten their hands on. wayne > thug at this point imo but... like you said he is already a living legend imo
