Sep 1, 2017 With so much fantasy football information and options out there for you, why not one more for you guys to use. I've been playing fantasy football for two decades and I've been making my own rankings for the past few years. This is the first year I post my rankings, use my rankings at your own risk but I'm confident you won't be disappointed. If you use my rankings I'd be interested in how your teams ends up. With Pre-Season over, these are my final top 200/draft tiers. Tips for redraft leagues. These rankings are based on .5 PPR NON super flex leagues Wait on a QB. The NFL is a pass happy league, The difference between an early drafted QB and a double digit QB drafted isn't worth the cost of using a 2nd-4th round pick on the top tier QB. So while I have top QB tier ranked players in the early rounds, I wouldn't draft a QB until rounds 8-10 in 10+ team drafts. Tiers>ADP drafting strategy. Average draft position doesn't mean anything. the best fantasy football players, in my experience, draft with tiers method over ADP. Don't get caught up in ADP. Roster Construction>>> In redraft leagues I like to come out of my draft with more RB than WR. You can stream a weekly WR player more than a RB. With that being said I rather have the top RB handcuffs than a flyer WR. So draft that RB handcuff before they become a hot commodity. I'm trying to push my Fantasy football rankings out so let me know if you draft with my rankings guys! Rankings updated***
Sep 1, 2017 Thanks man I hope my kit doesn't fail you. I'm interested in getting my rankings out for people to use on a yearly basis. Ran some test last year and had a high success rate with friends that used my data and made the playoffs. Please let me know how your team does through out the season.
Sep 1, 2017 Yeah I have 1 title in my current league. It's only year 5 for us in this league. Made the playoffs every year but 1 year which I just barely missed them. Still out non the less but had I made it the year I would've won the title that year too. The guy that beat me for the last playoff spot in the last week ended up winning the title that season. Went into SNF winning by 90 pts. Thought I had it. He had 3 players left. They were CJ Anderson, Eddie Lacy, Julio Jones. He scored over 100 pts in .5 ppr with 3 players.
Sep 3, 2017 Targets and tips Wish I had posted this earlier in the draft season but hopefully this will help those that are still scheduled to draft this season. My tips and targets for those still waiting to draft their squad for the 2017 season. Target rounds are based on team leagues of 8-12. The more teams in your league the earlier you should draft them per round. Players to target: Michael Crabtree: Target rounds: 3-5 Crabtree had 86% catch rate on contested receptions, 10th in targets in the league BUT 4th in red zone targets for WR. Look Amari Cooper is Oakland's #1 WR and will draw opposing teams top CB. Crabtree isn't better than most teams top DB, but he doesn't have to be. Cooper will draw that challenge. Crabtree just has to be better than most teams #2 DB, which he is. Carr also has a rap with Crabtree in the redzone and trusts Crabtree inside the 20 yardline. Draft him in rounds 3-5 as your WR2 for your fantasy team and he will put up low end WR1, high WR2 numbers. Pierre Garcon: Target Rounds 5-7 Disclaimer: not a homer selection. Kyle Shanahan is the new sheriff in town in SF and the last time Garcon was in a Kyle Shanahan offense, all he did was lead the NFL in receptions with 113 catches, over 1300 yards and 5 TD's. If you're in a .5 PPR or full PPR league you should be targeting this man at all cost. There is little competition at the WR position and as the local SXN80 49ers fan. Garcon should be in line for over 120 targets and close to 90 receptions. If you're in the early part of your draft in a snake style draft this is great value to pair with that early RB and 2nd/3rd round RB Kareem Hunt: Targets rounds 3-4 Andy Reid makes RBs relevant, plain and simple. I was high on Kareem Hunt to start with and was targeting him in round 8 in all my drafts. With the injury to Spencer Ware this just bumps his ADP a few rounds but whatever. Kareem hunt is the real deal in KC and if you are early in the draft and can land DJ or Bell and snatch Hunt in round 3 then you're in prime position to dominate you're league. Andy Reid has made a history out of turning his RB's into fantasy football relevancy. Rob Gronkowski: rounds 2-3 TE is that position that you can get great value in the later rounds but if you're drafting in the early rounds than you should be looking at Gronk at late 2nd/ early 3rd round pick based on ADP. Injury history and all things aside, this is the best TE in the game and the fact that he can outscore your opponents TE position by 8 fantasy pts/ game is all I need to say, Andy Dalton: Rounds 10-13 ADP is 18th QB off the board, In 2015 he was QB5 in scoring before his injury. Has all the weapons in A.J. Green, Eifert, Mixon and the deep threat rookie Ross. If you're like me and like to wait for QB in draft than this is the QB you want in the double digits rounds.
Sep 3, 2017 well im not the happiest with my draft. got stuck with the last pick in a 10 player league roster Mariota McCaffrey Mixon Aj Green Jordy Nelson Hunter Henry Crabtree at Flex Patriots D Dan Bailey and my bench consist of Ezekiel Elliot Stefon Diggs Kirk Cousins Ertz James White Cole Beasely Chris Hogan
Sep 4, 2017 That's a solid squad. WR is loaded. Green, Nelson, Crabtree, and Diggs. PPR? If yes then nice add with McCaffrey. If standard you'll a little weak at RB. Just wrapped up my 12 team draft. Out of the 3 spot in a .5 ppr. Dalton Fournette Dalvin Cook A. Brown D. Thomas Ebron 2 flex position. Garcon and Ingram Bench Luck D. Martin J. Doyle C Coleman James Conner K Golladay. I'm upset I didn't get my main TE target in the mid rounds (Ertz) there was a TE run I didn't expect when I took Martin I the 7th. I was certain I get Ertz on the return. Pissed I missed on Crabtree. Luck was there at 8 and I usually advise to wait if QB until double digits rounds but that's too good value to pass up for a QB1.
Sep 4, 2017 Bruh they're doing dalton so dirty this yr and i dont understand why he was middle of the pack last yr w/ green hurt, eifert hurt, and no run gm im expecting pretty decent regression to the mean w/ the guy
Sep 4, 2017 just drafted a 12 tm yesterday: QB: Luck, mariota RB: Gordon, Lynch, Elliott, Doug martin, and jacquizz rodgers Wr: K. Allen, A-rob, martavis bryant, john brown, maclin, and marvin jones TE: Eifert
Sep 4, 2017 Yeah Dalton is primed for a rebound year. He was top 5 QB in fantasty in 2015 before injury. Like I said, he was my target QB and could be this years Matt Ryan. Not those type of numbers Ryan put up but a top must start QB every week that goes late.
Sep 5, 2017 alright heisenberg......draft finna start in 12 minutes......i'm gonna use your guide as i draft
Sep 5, 2017 QB- Marcus Mariota RB- Devonta Freeman RB- DeMarco Murray RB/WR- Dalvin Cook WR- Alshon Jefferey WR- Kelvin Benjamin TE- Martellus Bennett Defense- NY Giants K- Kai Forbath WR- Jarvis Landy WR- Stefon Diggs WR- Eric Decker RB- Jeremy Hill QB- Carson Wentz WR- Willie Snead WR- Zay Jones
Sep 6, 2017 I like that team. Especially if you're PPR. Freeman and Murray is a great RB combo. Cooks is a nice flex. I like your bench WR depth of Landry and Diggs. Hill is named the starter for week 1. I'd keep an eye on his production the first few weeks and look at other teams RB situation in your league. Possibly try to trade Hill early if he has some decent weeks. Because I don't believe Hill will remain the starter too long this season. Mixon is clearly the best RB on that team. ok
Sep 6, 2017 what's PPR? only time will tell, but this is the best i've felt about any team that i've had in years. i asked a buddy of mine his opinion on my team, and he said he doesn't like my starting running backs, but overall, he loves my team
