I voted mid-tier. I love the concept, lyrics, songwriting and willingness to innovate. It's a profoundly influential album.

But the execution is what keeps it from being a top-tier album, imo. The beats are simple, which emphasizes the vocals as the main component of the album. But Kanye's singing was off-key most of the time. And since he was new to autotune at the time, he wasn't using that to the full potential.

The features on Street Lights and Welcome to Heartbreak gave me a glimpse of what this album could've been like if the singing were better.

one of his most influential. hard to say whether it's top two for me. at various times, differing moods, i prefer MBDTF or yeezus or graduation the most. wouldnt be mad at anyone voting option #1, but papa andy went #2 this round

Top 3 for sure, wouldn't be mad if you said it was his best. Probably the most influential album of the 2000s.

A finished Yandhi had lower-mid B-tier potential imo. DONDA prob upper C-tier maaaaaaybe lower B potential but as it stands I'd put it at the top of D-tier prob

One of his better albums. I don't know what I was expecting after he moved away from the school/college theme but it certainly wasn't what we got. It worked though. A lot. It just took me a good few spins to understand it's genius. Heartbreak is good for Kanye, I wish he'd scrap everything he's been doing for the past 5 years and start afresh and use the mourning or losing KK as his wife as inspiration.

Hated it when it came out. Absolutely despised it. I wasn’t on the auto tune boat at all. Years later it’s one of my favorite albums

I wonder who will drop the next 808s when it comes to genre altering sounds in rap?

Grandioso. Can't even tell you which version I like more, really depends on the day. All I know is that I fall in love with this song everytime I hear it. I just can't get sick of it.

I cant really split them between CD, LR, MBDTF, Grad, 808s. All master pieces.
