I still remember when I first listened to 4:44 and I thought it was just another Jay project. I didn't see where the hype was coming from.....gave it some time and came back and now I think it's one of his best albums. :allears:

What's something you wasn't feeling at first and maybe spoke too soon about, only to find yourself loving it weeks/months later

I'm having a hard time figuring out which is the bigger shitposter spam and I'm gonna have to give you the award. How often do you just make the polar opposite of someone else's thread and clog up the list? The only thing worse than spam is unoriginal spam. Go home, write some s---, make it suspenseful, and don't come back until something dope hits you.

IYRTITL for sure. Debatably Drakeā€™s best album.

I was on that ā€œDrake is boring, mundane, and softā€ train for a while and viewed this album in the same light. Gave it a few extra listens and found out that the s--- slaps.

Too bad he regressed immediately afterwards and his music is trash again.

Probably been said a thousand times but it truly cannot be said enough: 808s ushered in the new era of hip hop

    Stankonia - Outkast

For a long time I didn't understand why it was so hailed, this is coming from a big proponent of Kast. All until one day it just magically clicked
