Jul 4, 2016 Does KD make the 73 Warriors a lock to win the championship? We've seen 'super' teams fail before (04 Lakers, 12 Lakers, 11 Heat), so there's no guarantee these guys can pull it off year 1. They're going to struggle, putting a scoring machine into GS's system is going to have some growing pains. I'd be shocked if they won over 70 games next season. @NBAsxn
Jul 4, 2016 They were 1:09 of basketball away from repeating and now they have Durant. Everyone is just playing for second place at this point.
Jul 4, 2016 No, not at all. They're obviously the favorites but you never know how these things will play out plus it'll take a while for them all to figure out how to play together at their best.
Jul 4, 2016 Westbrook will be traded to a contender by the deadline, so it really depends where he ends up. Also never count out Lebron
Jul 4, 2016 No, yea its a lock. Probably the year i start losing interest in non-Celtics NBA games. TY KD for ruining the league
Jul 4, 2016 I dunno about that. What OKC has to demand for him and with him only having 1 year left, might not be that easy for teams to come to a deal. The 2017 NBA Finals is already set, barring major injuries (and even then its still probably set) so you would be trading for Westbrook without a chance to compete for a title this year. And with everything pointing to him wanting to return to LA it doesn't make sense for the Lakers to give away a ton to get him. Maybe the Clippers send Chris Paul and then Westbrook is in LA, but not with the Lakers and they can convince him to stay + OKC gets Paul (would be a huge slap in his face tho). Maybe the Cavs send OKC Love so they still have a "star" with years left on his contract. And somehow Russ and Kyrie play together(sounds like chaos lol) with hopes that Russ wants revenge on KD and resigns with the Cavs. And from Cleveland's end it doesn't k--- them if Russ leaves (they don't even really want Love lol), because they would sign Blake instead or whoever else they wanted. If I'm OKC i obviously want lottery picks over Kevin Love, but what bad team is gonna give that up knowing he won't re-sign?
Jul 4, 2016 Nah, I don't believe so.. they are going to be the equivalent of The eagles dream team of a few years ago
Jul 4, 2016 I'm not a Philly fan..lol that's what the "media" called them at the time..and they bombed this is Bleed btw, you know I'm a skins fan
Jul 4, 2016 Yea that 2011 team was so upsetting. It was the year following Vick's come back and all the big free agents came to Philly to play with him. We were dubbed the dream team after Vince Young opened his f---ing mouth at training camp and said that
Jul 4, 2016 It's not a lock as there will be growing pains imo. Anything less than a title will be deemed a failure for sure. #FuckKD
