Dec 2, 2017 i dont get why people do this. both parties are both f---ing dumb and the "representatives" of both respective parties are both pieces of s---. look at hillary vs trump, would you really vote for either one of them knowing their history? i wouldn't. also by associating with one party, you'll naturally be biased and turn a blind eye for all the bad s--- that happens on your side. agree, disagree?
Dec 2, 2017 You can "associate yourself with a political party" without being a shill. Bernie did it.
Dec 2, 2017 Is this an alt? If your beliefs are mostly in line with a political party, there’s nothing wrong with associating yourself with that political party.
Dec 2, 2017 Well I could call myself a Democrat, but it would be hard to criticize someone like Hillary Clinton because they associate with that party.
Dec 2, 2017 Thats cuz you guys have 2 parties that kinda s--- I guess then We have plenty so easier to associate with one
Dec 2, 2017 Just because you’re a democrat doesn’t mean you’re obligated to agree with every single democrat in the party on every issue.
Dec 2, 2017 thats true, a lot of people who call themselves a democrat/republican tend to ignore problems within their own party. even though trumps approval is like 30% right now 84% of republicans think he's doing a good job ffs
Dec 2, 2017 That's true but a lot of people feel like they need to, or even if they don't when you tell someone I'm a ____ they assume you believe in everything ____ believes in.
Dec 2, 2017 The party who you vote for is never going to fully represent your views. In my country we have a system called MMP- unless a party gets majority vote ( over 50% votes), they have to go in coalition with other parties to form a government. In our recent election 3 parties formed a coalition to overthrow the right winged government we had for last 9 years (even though this party got the most votes, something like 44%). The parties that make up the current coalition are centre-left(34% votes), left (7% votes) and right winged(8% votes). This means a lot more of the population is represented instead of just having a single party running the country. Ofcoirse the party that got the most votes In the coalition has most of the power and is where the prime minister comes from.
Dec 2, 2017 this whole "they both s--- so f--- voting for either one!" thing is such a cop out, especially where there are clear differences in qualifications to hold the office and stances on things and the kinds of people they'd put in place to help them
Dec 2, 2017 Yeah, but they're both still manipulative c----. I'd rather vote for an independent candidate.
Dec 2, 2017 i'm sorry, but they're not equatable you can think they're both s-----y people, fine, but one of them very clearly would've been doing a better job as a president why this doesn't help anything. we're still going to end up with one of the 2, so you might as well not even bother at that point
Dec 2, 2017 Because I don't want the system to think that I'll be satisfied with s-----y candidates. i live in a blue state anyways, im aware it won't make a huge difference.
Dec 2, 2017 i think it's pretty obvious that hillary would be amazing by comparison, and i shouldn't have to spell out why your protest vote means nothing, ultimately. all you do by voting for somebody other than the 2 with the chance to win is take away a vote for the party you most closely align with do you not realize this or..?
