    Either Tupac Vs Biggie or 50 bs Ja Rule.

    Was never into either Jay or Nas when they were beefing so can't really that one. Tupac and Biggie is a story of legends but I grew up with 50 in his prime.

    I wasn't into hip hop when over half of these happened, but after reading into them, Tupac vs Biggie was the beef of most significance. Although, Nas v Jay had the best diss tracks.

    Well I started listening to rap (more) in 2008 so I haven't experienced most beefs tbh. Relistened/read etc afterwards. Nowadays most 'beefs' are f---ing fa----s posting girly things on twitter

    Nas and Jay is probably the most entertaining, but No Vaseline is the harshest diss ever recorded.

    Big vs. Pac barely counts since we never got a proper response out of Big. Pac was beefing with him, but he wasn't really beefing back.

    And thats the reason I go with that. Also both rappers have only impacted more through the beef and made their legacies even better. Also its an even beef... f--- ppl still debating in 2017 about their beef

    Jay vs Nas, though No Vaseline is better than Ether, Takeover, and any other songs that came from that beef.

    I don't think Who Shot Ya was meant to be directed at Pac.
    Besides it (supposedly) being recorded before the shooting, I remember there being a line about duct tape around someone's daughter, and obviously Pac didn't have kids.
    It just came out at the wrong time.
    If anything, Long Kiss Goodnight is the only reply.

    heavily debated...

    the timing is the only thing that made it seem like it was directed at Pac. had it been released any other time nobody would make any sort of connection.

    basically this

    I can see why people may think it's a shot at Pac but personally I've always thought it to be an unfortunate coincidence
