Oct 26, 2017 Alright guys, on to 1993. The winner of 1992, by result of a random pick generator due to a tie, is Core. We had another tie breaker on our hands so that is the route that I chose to go. I'd rather not have a ton of ties in the winner list. Spoiler: Mentions @Packman @Ben @Cunner @Changeling @Xmipod @jmillithauglybasedgod @Michael Myers @Fire Squad @tomroe93 @King of Kings @413 @Soldier @marshmallow @Rootbeer @Swizz Winners:1990: Facelift- Alice in Chains 1991: Nevermind- Nirvana, Use Your Illusion 2- Guns and Roses 1992: Core 1993: TBD
Oct 26, 2017 Slowdive ~ Souvlaki Those of you who haven’t heard this please listen top 5 album oat Siamese Dream is prob second tho
Oct 26, 2017 Melvins album is good. Haven't heard the latter. But for the purpose of tallying votes, which one is your vote going towards? Also, did you not like Siamese Dream?
Oct 26, 2017 I guess Houdini since it's got another vote. I honestly haven't listened to any Smashing Pumpkins albums. I'll give it a shot.
Oct 26, 2017 Huge mentions to Transmissions From The Satellite Heart - Flaming Lips & Transient Random-Noise Bursts with Announcements - Stereolab, really enjoyed both of those records
Oct 26, 2017 One of the best bands out of the 90's tbh. Siamese Dream is definitely their best album. Gish, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, and Pieces Iscariot are all worth checking out. They fell off after the 90's.
Oct 26, 2017 I've heard, but alternative dream pop stuff isn't really my thing. I mainly listen to rock from the 70s.
Oct 26, 2017 I'm listening to this rn, I forgot to thank you for mentioning My Bloody Valentine in the 91' thread, never got a chance to hear their work I was absolutely blown away by Loveless!
Oct 26, 2017 No problem fam this era of fuzzy shorgaze/alt rock records is prob my fav era of music oat
