Oct 28, 2017 Have this on vinyl, great album. This album only could have been a success in the 90's, geek rock was a unique thing. This album was simple yet powerful. Do you know about the album "Songs from the Black Hole" that they never released? Most of it turned into Pinkerton but the concept was amazing. Look it up.
Oct 28, 2017 Fun facts about Dookie: JAR was originally going to be on the album but got scrapped for whatever reason. Also the song "409 in Your Coffeemaker" off of 1,039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hours was a b-side track on Dookie in some countries. Here's what the Dookie version sounded like:
Oct 28, 2017 I fw GD but I'm gonna have to go with Superunknown, also Vitalogy honorable mention. I know Dookie and Weezer but the rest I haven't heard
Oct 28, 2017 All of the videos from that album were A1. Blue Album and Pinkerton were great. Then they went on to make songs like Beverly Hills and fell off hard. Seems like most 90's bands after the 90's either fell into irrelevancy or changed their sound in a bad way to try and be relevant *cough*greenday*cough*
Oct 28, 2017 Hope everything is ok @Sign Language This was such a good year, I’m giving my vote to Superunknown—just by a hair over Dookie. Huge shoutout to Nirvana’s MTV Unplugged & Nine-Inch Nail’s masterpiece
Oct 28, 2017 Dookie- longview, welcome to paraidse, basket case, when i come around amazing!!!! probably in my top 10 rock albums of all time tbh.
Oct 28, 2017 Thanks fam I'm good now, nothing too serious. I really can't blame anybody for choosing one album over another this year SO MANY GREAT ALBUMS!
