Oct 29, 2017 This is by far my favorite Green Day album. Their sound was the most punk on this record. The fast paced, aggressive, short yet full of substance songs that this album was comprised of is just too sweet. Geek Stink Breath, Walking Contradiction, Brain Stew/Jaded, talk about great singles. Most people I talk to choose Dookie as their favorite Green Day album. I prefer Insomniac in the sense that Insomniac is Dookie's angry, jaded little brother. Quick fun fact; Good Riddance was supposed to be on this album. The tone of the Insomniac version is like a "f--- you" compared to the "It was fun, have a good life" version that we got on Nimrod. Honorable Mentions: WTSMG, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Short Bus, You'd Prefer an Astronaut.
Oct 29, 2017 Tell me about it A guns n roses album tied with nevermind in 91 and In Utero beat Siamese Dream in 93. f---in dweebs
Oct 29, 2017 radiohead in general or just this particular album? i understand why some ppl wouldn't be able to get into their music. their rock music doesn't have the traditional sound. its different
Oct 29, 2017 Radiohead in general. They just aren’t my cup of tea. I respect them as artists but that’s about it. The gif was mainly a reference to you picking the radiohead album when GD dropped their best album and SP dropped what many consider their best album.
Oct 30, 2017 Pavement ~ Wowee Zowee HM: Slowdive ~ Pygmalion Radiohead ~ The Bends SMashing Pumpkins ~ Melon Collie Sonic Youth ~ Washing Machine Red House Painters ~ Ocean Beach
Oct 30, 2017 Was thinking of going with Sonic Youth or Radiohead, but d--- I love this album--first album I actually heard by SP when I was getting into them some years back
Oct 30, 2017 hot take: mellon collie is amazing but you could cut 30% of the songs and it would be much better
