Oct 20, 2017 So both have positive and negative things Big city life - always stuff to do - lots of people/crowded (which can be both good and bad) - everything is close by - less safety? Small town/village - peacefull - boring? (again can be both good or bad) - adventure/things to do is far away - safe/less crime? I prefer living in a small town close to a big city so I can benefit from both. And right now thats my situation.
Oct 20, 2017 i went from a small town to a decent sized city where there's always something going on and I love it. Never been to a huge city tho. It's also nice to have tons of restaurants close by
Oct 20, 2017 I'm f---ing with the city life cause I can't stand backwoods type s--- or beach s--- for the most part but when I get old ill prolly settle for like lowkey rural city type thing
Oct 20, 2017 Beach >> Unfortunately the beach in holland is f---ing disgusting and too crowded (german people also come there in summer) but when I go on holiday I want a beach vacation. Went to Miami this year and just returned from Mallorca. Love it. Dont wanna live there though because when u get used to it its not special anymore
Oct 20, 2017 Always have lived in the city (Seattle and a decent-sized "college town" that's more of a small city), but I've spent quite a bit of time in rural towns in PA and Oregon cuz that's where my grandparents live(d). In an ideal world I'd live in the city and then have a property in a smaller town to escape to.
Oct 20, 2017 Lived in Houston my whole life so big city is all that I've known. With that being said I've spent some time in rural Ohio and loved it. Something about the tranquility of nature and the isolation that comes with it is mentally cleansing. I would like to ideally have a highrise in Houston and then a small ranch somewhere in central Texas that I can go to when I need a mental detox.
Oct 20, 2017 There's perks to both. I like the city cuz there's always so much to do and always something going on. I kinda get the best of both worlds where I live since my GF lives close to the city so we're always doing something down there. I'm always up in the mountains too in the middle of nowhere where you can get away from people and do whatever the h--- you want because there is no one around. It's therapeutic sometimes. Take some friends and some liquor up for a weekend and you're set. We normally take our bikes or atv's up and spend most of our time riding pretty much everywhere. If I had to choose, I don't know. I love the city and I love the
Oct 20, 2017 Where are your grandparents at in PA? Feel like we've talked about this before but I forget.
Oct 20, 2017 cities are pretty s--- and filled with a lot of entitled c---- tbh. they are also a drain you literally pour your money in, you got fucken entry fees, dog c---- handing out fines, parking fees, anything consumable is gonna cost you like $10.50 minimum and leave you feeling empty and wanting more. I also hate seeing Australian people dress like Americunts (wearing chicago bulls jerseys and fucken Raiders hats, f--- off). LIke I can't think of anything that makes a city better
Oct 21, 2017 I love cities. Small town s--- is boring as f---, and in my experience, far less open and accepting generally.
Oct 21, 2017 idk, I guess my city is probably in between a big city and a small town. Perfect for me, not too much traffic but still plenty of stuff to do.
Oct 21, 2017 lived in both of many. city by a long shot. love the malls, places to walk around, nightlife with clubs & lounges, entertainment, job opportunities, s--- closing late, basically everything there's always something to go out to at all hours. never been crazy about small towns they f---in depress me
