Dec 13, 2017 My thoughts: Em starts this record out with Believe which is a track that is so good that in fact, it makes me absolutely sick to talk about it and the album that follows. From there it is a bonafide nosedive into 70 minutes of awkward pop-rap rock anthems with no shred of any artistry whatsoever. It is like Em came up with 6-7 songs (if we can even call his random nauseating rapping "songs") and then let Paul take care and gift him the bones of 7-8 tracks that he can lay verses in, and then call the steaming pile of s--- an album. I'm notorious for mostly hating on Relapse and Recovery on here....but after MMLP2, I never thought he had it him him to stoop this low again. Upon hearing my first playthrough of this record though , and I never thought I would fathom saying this let alone immediately after playing the new record for the first time, it's probably his worst album. It isn't bad no it's embarrassingly bad.

Dec 13, 2017 Accurate summary. About 4 or 5 songs with any real replay value, the rest is straight trash. Never thought we’d see him release music worse than MMLP2 and ShadyXV but here we are.

Dec 13, 2017 This is sad... I was bumpin to Believe... got a bit confused with Chloraseptic but for both of those songs I kept playing it back. Then I get to "Remind Me" and think OK WHAT THE f--- IS GOING ON .. I LIKE THAT THEY SAMPLED THIS BUT WTF IS THIS??? Then it turned into a complete pop album wtf. Like Ok... I can vibe with "Monster" and "Love The Way You Lie" and "Don't Back Down" but this s--- was PURE POP.... it felt like I wasn't even listening to Eminem anymore Framed was cool it was reminding me of Relapse.... the hook was kinda annoying but I think I can vibe with it. Offended was good til it got to the weird f---ing hook. I agree Castle and Arose was good but by then I was just so exhausted from all the songs before it was tough to appreciate the first time around. I'm thinking this could be his worst sadly. k--- me for saying it but I could listen to Encore front to back and even enjoy the goofy a--- songs for what they were. I bumped Relapse. I'll defend the f--- out of Recovery despite some corny lines MMLP2 I can still listen to. This is the first album where I think I'll have to cherry pick like 5 songs.
