Used to be a huge Blu stan back in the day but haven't really been into his last few projects like that. BTH is a classic obviously and I lowkey like Give Me My Flowers even more.

    I agree.

He is very good with lyrics and delivery even though he is stuff as f---. Plus he gets a crowd in Riverside and won a Grammy do I can't complain. He is nothing special but I respect him for drawing crowds despite the stiffness...

How stiff? Dude is a f---ing statue. Doesn't even f---ing move.

blu's work from below the heavens to noyork is the most underrated run in hip-hop history. he was like nas except he was willing to take creative risks like kanye. easily in my top 25 of all-time

@Strayakunt He's performing in Riverside in a couple of months, since I know the venue owner personally I can do stuff for you. What would you like me to say or do for your favorite idol.

Not a big fan but I'd figure I offer a service.

Below the Heavens, Flowers, HerFavoriteColo(u)r, Jesus, Johnson & Johnson, GODleeBarnes, NoYork...he's got an expansive and weird discography, but a great one. I haven't been big on anything post-NoYork though. He's made some strange creative decisions (some for the better, some for the worse) that ultimately affected his marketability/fame, but I dunno if he really cares. Haven't kept up on him the past couple years but he was very very good for a period.

NoYork is seriously one of the best albums I've heard in a while. I can see why some Blu fans hate it but at the same time they're crazy

I honestly only listened to it once or twice and don't really remember it lol, it just didn't grab me right away. Maybe I need to give it another chance.

I think it's pretty consistent for a double album but unless you're invested in Blu you'll probably walk away indifferent

It's one of my favorite Blu albums due to the experimental production Blu uses on the album which I love

I remember when I first heard it a few years ago. I had no idea wtf was going on and I turned it off after the first track. Then recently I watched Dead End Hip-Hop's review on it and they were like "The first half is Nintendo-core". Had a look at the producer list and I was in af. Heard it, loved it.
I'm personally not the biggest fan of the 3 tracks that appear on the vinyl but s---'s still hard

Is GODleeBarnes worth tracking down? I've heard that the mixed and mastered files were lost so Blu released it raw...and it doesn't sound good but I've seen people praising it so idk
