Aug 19, 2020 No discussion to be made. Kendrick has made classics, Boogie hasn’t. Boogie has direct influence from Kendrick’s music.
Aug 19, 2020 Potential? Maybe. But even if I think plenty lot of kendricks stuff is pretty boring, gkmc >>>
Aug 19, 2020 I don't think any new rapper has the potential to top Kendricks career tbh None of these new ''lyrical'' guys even really rap like that, tell stories like that, they just dont make hit songs and are understandable. The bar is so low
Aug 19, 2020 At this point maybe not I agree, but I mean Boogie is a pretty cool rapper and Kendrick has been MIA for years now.
Aug 19, 2020 I mean my overall point is Kendrick is in the GOAT discussion and as much as I like Boogie I don't see him ever being there. Not a knock on the dudes music by any means
Aug 19, 2020 I know it's a rare, almost unheard of opinion, that's why on wanted to bring it to discussion. Lyrically I do think Kendrick takes the edge but I find myself listening to Boogie way more.
Aug 19, 2020 Unless Shady Records f---s up his career too, Boogie definitely has the potential to become a hip-hop legend. But right now he has one 7,5/10 album versus Kendrick's four classics.
